Victòria Vilalta unleashes captivating indie-folk project 'Out Loud Thoughts'

Catalan singer-songwriter Victòria Vilalta steps forward with ‘Out Loud Thoughts’, a nine track indie folk collection that captures her instinct for emotional honesty. Now based in London, she has been steadily shaping a sound that feels raw yet refined, pairing self reflection with a quietly assured sense of craft. Built on elegant melodies and delicate vocal phrasing, ‘Out Loud Thoughts’ moves between stripped-back acoustic moments and subtly expanded production.

Speaking about the album, Victòria Vilalta explains, “‘Out loud thoughts’ was created in London studios. It was self-written and self-produced, relating the songs’ meanings to their sound. It entails collaborations with other musicians in writing some of the tracks and recording most of them. Each song conveys an emotion, ideas or values that are important to me. I always understood music as emotion.”
