Symeon releases striking new pop-ballad 'Your Excuse'

Hailing from London, singer-songwriter Symeon is back with the release of his latest single, 'Your Excuse'. A powerful, honest retelling of the aftermath of a relationship gone wrong, the release sees Symeon wear his heart on his sleeve. Driven forward by an empowering, though gloomy, piano line, the single comes punctuated by his emotion-filled delivery.

Speaking about the single, he chimes in, “Your Excuse is one of the first songs I wrote, and I’ve been holding onto it since November 2024, waiting for the right moment to release it. Recently, after sharing it with a few people, it felt like the timing was finally right. The song is an introspective look at coming to terms with someone not wanting you, and the excuses they give to justify breaking things off. It captures both the vulnerability of that experience and the clarity that comes from seeing the truth, and I felt it deserved to be released into the world ahead of my full EP later this year.”
