SWEEPR releases energy-fuelled new single "Overtime"

SWEEPR is quickly making an impression in the music industry with his unique and signature take on dance music. Blending techno, dynamic textures and irresistible melodies together, SWEEPR's music is sure to pick you up and leave you wanting more. With a growing fanbase, 2023 is very much looking like his year.

SWEEPR is back with a new single entitled "Overtime." With pounding drums and anthemic synth lines "Overtime" will be sure to take listeners on a musical journey. The track is textually diverse and increases in immersive energy throughout.

When speaking on the new release, he said, “Overtime was actually the first track I had an idea for when thinking about the Night Shift EP. Night Shift and Overtime are inspired from “working overtime” or staying up late through the night. It’s a mixture of work culture but also rave culture, and figuring out how to balance the two. A large group of our friends were all born in Oct/Nov and we were in Las Vegas together. A few of us were still up around 7am, and that’s when I had the idea to write the Night Shift EP. Overtime was the first track I started writing lyrics for, but as I said, it took on a brand new path since that day.”

With an upcoming EP (“Night Shift”) on the horizon, the future looks incredibly bright.
