Built around soaring vocals, pulsating rhythms and a heavy dose of 90s nostalgia, the track blends emotionally vulnerability with dancefloor energy, drawing inspiration from artists such as Robin, Charli XCX, Toe of Love, Sebastian Explores, The Aftermaths of Love and Deception, and the complicated realities of dating in the modern age.

Speaking about the single, Sebastian says:

"The song 'night hours', which will be released on May 29, is about being deceived by the one you love. It's about being unable to let go of the dream of a future together and accepting that the relationship isn't real."

The release follows Sebastian's acclaimed single 'Talk To Me', which arrived earlier this year. While that track leaned into playful pop melodies, 'night hours' takes a darker and more serious direction. Trading light-hearted moments for a more intense and cathartic sound, the song showcases another side of Sebastian's artistry.
