Lovesick debut with ‘Hoping This Is The End’

New band Lovesick is a project by Goolkasian, of The Elevator Drops, and self-portrait artist Heather Joy Morgan. With guitars from Adam Wade of Funeral Party and Palana of Palana vs The Man, the pair bring innovative new sounds from decades of influences.

With their debut album ‘Hoping This Is The End’ Lovesick brings together the experimental pop of every era that came before it and carefully moulds a sound that is deeply nostalgic and appealing to music fans of all ages and preferences. There are twangs of everything from surf to glam, breezy to gritty, as the duo show off the expanse of their artistic songwriting capabilities.

On their sound, Lovesick shares, “Lovesick is here to create beautiful sounds out of the chaos we all live in. Combining the romanticism of the new wave with the power and drive of post-punk and anything in between.”
