LDRDO has returned, giving fans the first insight into his upcoming debut album, On The Road. The release is called ‘Light My Fire’, and sees the artist create a rich and unique danceable groove, filled with soulful vocals and bright and breezy instrumentation. Welcomed into the music with smooth electric guitar licks and funky synth bass, LDRDO builds up vast arrangements of twinkling melodies and laid-back chords. Above all comes a passionate and infectious vocal performing a catchy hook that you’ll find yourself humming throughout your day.

The artist comments on the track, sharing, “I would say that this track tells the part of the story (track 5) which the protagonist is in the middle of his journey and is dealing with old memories and past experiences that makes him feel down and like he’s “losing his mind” and in pain, but he calls for that spark of inspiration to “light his fire”. So the song has a positive message to keep your head up and stay strong, and can relate to dealing with mental health issues and depression.”
Going by the moniker of LDRDO, Tel-Aviv producer and songwriter David Levi. Through his music, David explores organic sonic tapestries, blending sounds from across the globe to create rich musical experiences. Alongside his debut EP ‘Lost In The Fire’, LDRDO has played host to a diverse list of singles, constantly collaborating for innovations in his songwriting.
Teasing the forthcoming debut album, the artist adds, “‘On the Road’ is a concept album based on my semi-autobiographical journey after a crisis and my decision to refocus my life. Taking the same title from Jack Kerouac's legendary book, this piece is heavily influenced by American road stories alongside my home culture in the middle east.”
