John Tibbits presents new E.P. ‘Light of the Flame’

John Tibbits is an artist that hails from a family of musicians that led to him starting to write songs at just fourteen years old. Originally hailing from Birmingham, he’s now based in London, with his lyrics speaking the banalities of working life, as well as romance, political cynicism, and his passion for music.

His new and highly anticipated E.P. ‘Light of the Flame’ has just been released, featuring the acclaimed single ‘Our Moment’. The project takes the listener on a musical journey with engaging melodies and diverse textures that aim to connect with the audience. John’s lyrics detail relationships, friendships and the monotonous routine of white-collar working.

Speaking about the E.P, he says: “This is a record that captures an array of themes: growing up (Stupid and Dumb), romance (Find the Key), political cynicism (Light of the flame), a passion for music (Our Moment) and embracing life (Make what you will). Me and Jak (my producer) had a lot of fun recording the EP, and allowed ourselves to experiment with different sounds, especially on Light of the Flame.”

With a growing fanbase and fantastic industry support for his signature sound, Tibbits is on track to have an incredibly successful 2023.
