Jenna Kay releases empowering alt-pop EP 'Smartsass'

Nashville's own Jenna Kay is back as she looks to step back out into the limelight as a reounding alt-pop creative. Armed with potent melodies, raw emotion, and bagfuls of glitter, 'Smartsass' lands with a glowing intent. Tracing messy breakups, bitter truths, and the ups and downs of modern life, the six-track offering looks to bolster Kay as an ever-evolving rising star.

Speaking about the new release, she explains, “Smartsass is my attitude in album form, it’s me owning my voice, saying the things I used to keep quiet. It’s confident, sarcastic, emotional, and unapologetically honest. These songs are about growing up, standing your ground, and realising you don’t have to shrink yourself to be liked.”
