Chloe Star's debut EP 'the bed i lie in' opens with the track 'hollywood kills', something that lyrically and musically encapsulates the raw youth of Chloe's writing. The full frontal guitars sit upon intricate melodic layers, the elements arising listen after listen as you continue to pick the track apart. The vocals, are vulnerable in content but assured in delivery, there's a balance of pain and a sense she is unconcerned with her external perception, Chloe is authentic to her roots.

The rest of the project echoes these sentiments, each track taking a slightly different angle, a childhood story, a more recent romance, or an internal battle, Chloe represents all of the trials and tribulations with nothing to hide. Chloe adds, “Loneliness, heartbreak, overcoming addiction, and just life, is the bed i lie in. This is my most authentic piece of work that I have ever written. Being able to put my heart and soul into this project has been so healing for me on so many levels. I am officially walking in my truth and can now shut the door on the bed i lie in.”
