Beau Cinema releases electric new single ‘Collarbone’

Acclaimed industry multi-instrumentalist Beau Cinema the moniker of Birmingham-born London-based Alex Lanyon. His career so far has been nothing short of impressive playing alongside the likes of Dua Lipa, Ed Sheeran, James Bay and Mae Muller, recently returning from a UK/Europe tour with Eloise. In his solo music, he is able to draw from the experience of working with huge artist from the studio to the stage, crafting his own signature pop sound. He also draws on his own life experiences, creating snapshots of time and the beauty of humanity in his music.

Lanyon’s latest offering ‘Collarbone’ is a feel good pop anthem. It features a driving four to the floor drum pattern, a grooving bass line, as well as glittery, glamorous, shimmering synths and electric guitar lines that are audacious and rhythmic, creating a vibrant sonic space.

On the new release, he shares “I wrote the song in March 2021, I remember it was the middle of another lockdown and life was kind of on hold. I met someone really cool where there was something between us, but due to circumstances, it never quite got further than being a ‘remember when’, but that’s kind of cool, and we were both cool with it, and we look back with really fond memories of that time, so I guess this song is just a snapshot of that really cool time."

This is an artist with bags of experience and talent, so its only a matter of time before his exciting summery sound become the next tracks to shoot into the mainstream.
