RAPHAEL shares nostalgic single ‘Love Is Money’

Back with another high-energy single and glittering video, RAPHAEL has unveiled the exciting track ‘Love Is Money’. Brimming with glimmering synth pads that are drenched in noughties pop nostalgia, each kick drum is a thump to the chest, with dynamic hi-hat and percussive rhythms creating an atmospheric presence. The music video’s visuals are equally sparkling, with the astronaut protagonist featured across RAPHAEL’s discography making another appearance.

RAPHAEL explains, “The song celebrates the heart’s currency and the power of love. If I search for a feeling, I’m rich in my heart … love is like money in your pocket; if you’ve got it, you’re rich.” I sing in my song "Love is Money. " There aren’t many who rule the world without a penny; yes, I can.”

Born in Nigeria, but moving to England when he was eleven years old, RAPHAEL is a singer, songwriter and producer whose passion is evident from the first note you hear. Debuting in May 2023, sporadic single releases have seen the artist refine his vision, expanding on the stories he started with his first track ‘Faith’

Diving into how visual storytelling is a key part of his artistic expression, he adds, “Music videos are an integral part of my artwork, and it helps tell my stories of my singles visually. My videos chronicle the journey of an astronaut. The Astronaut is a beacon of light and hope for diversity and inclusivity. Anyone can be an Astronaut regardless of race, gender, age, and social status. We are all the same in many ways and would all be the same at face value in a spaceman suit.”
